Background
Future Street is focussed on delivering sustainable waste management and recycling solutions across Europe. Fastned's mission is to give freedom to electric drivers and accelerate the transition to sustainable mobility with over 1000 vehicle charging points across Europe.
The Challenge/Solution
With ongoing litter issues in and around the charging site, Fluid were tasked by our partners, Future Street, to install sustainable, solar powered bins to help keep the site clean and free from waste. Our trained team installed compactor waste bins and connected the services to the Future Street smart cloud system. This interface then manages volumes, fill rates and waste collection activity.
The Outcome
The installation of the Big Belly bins onsite has reduced waste, enhanced the surrounding area and allowed more waste to be recycled.
