Background
With restaurants around the UK featuring locally sourced produce and menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner our client is at the forefront of the hospitality sector.
The Challenge/Solution
When a void site experienced an intrusion from squatters, Fluid were tasked with the safe and compliant clean up process before the site could be safely secured. Our experienced and compliant team followed a methodical approach to remove all materials including sharps and blades from the site. This hazardous waste is considered dangerous as it can puncture skin, causing injury and infection. Once safe, the clean up could begin. As a licenced waste carrier, we were able to deal with all hazardous waste removal affected by bodily fluids, chemicals and other biohazards.
The Outcome
The site was left clean and sanitised with all hazardous waste removed through the appropriate channels. Outside contractors were then able to secure the site from any future issues. A full before and after photo report was issued to our client and waste transfer notes provided as per regulation.

"We have been using Fluid Hygiene for over 15 years to daily clean nearly 40 of our premises nationwide. We operate at the premium end of the market, so need to keep our hygiene up to a high standard to compete. Most cleaning companies will clean satisfactorily, but we value Fluid for their ability to respond proactively. We achieve this through maintaining a close personal relationship with our team and theirs, which in my view is the mark of a good contractor."
